In celebration of our mother school's 55th Anniversary, the OSA is organizing two ball game tournaments:

The Basketball Tournament and the Football Tournament.

The finals will be played at the QES Home Coming day on 13 December 2009. The preparation matches will be played at QES on selected Sundays in late October or November.

QES 55th Anniversary Basketball Tournament

Period of Holding:

Preliminary and semi-final matches will be held on Sunday mornings in November 2009

Venue:

Basketball court of Queen Elizabeth School

Entry Requirement:

Alumni or current students of Queen Elizabeth School;A team with mixed FA members is acceptable

Mode of Competition:

5-on-5 Basketball Competition;
Number of participating team is limited to 12;
Teams will be divided into groups and played in single round robin system

Awards:

Medals will be presented to the Champion, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Runners-up (Maximum of 20 medals for each winning team)
Application Fee:
HK$1,200 per team with a minimum of 6 players;
HK$100 for each additional player

QES 55th Anniversary Football Tournament

Period of Holding:
Preliminary and semi-final matches will be held on Sunday mornings in November 2009

Venue:

Football field of Queen Elizabeth School

Entry Requirement:

Alumni or current students of Queen Elizabeth School;
A team with mixed FA members is acceptable

Mode of Competition:

7-a-side Football Competition;
Number of participating team is limited to 16;
Teams will be divided into groups and played in knock-out system

Awards:

Medals will be presented to the Champion, 1st and 2nd Runners-up (Maximum of 20 medals for each winning team)

Application Fee:

HK$1,000 per team with a minimum of 8 players;
HK$100 for each additional player
